Golf Club. Door sales available on the night. Glow items, lollies, chips and drinks
available for purchase, coffee, tea and homebaking $1 each for any parents
wanting to stay!
Thank you to all of those who offered to help. We have
been inundated with kind parents offering their time at the disco but unless
someone from the PTA has spoken to you about helping on Wednesday night we now
have enough helpers. Please do volunteer again next time. Thank you!
Save the date! Quiz night on Friday 23rd May to be held
at Whangaparaoa Golf Club. It will be heaps of fun and there will be plenty of
prizes to be won. Book a table of 8, choose a theme and fill it with your
friends for an evening of fun and laughter. Prizes for the best dressed table!
(Dressing up is optional - if it's not your cup of tea, no problem!)
If anyone can offer prizes for raffles or a Silent
Auction we would love to hear from you. Eg. Do you have a boat and love to
fish? Could you offer to take a winner out fishing for a morning or if you have
a lawn mowing business could you donate some free lawn mowing?

"Having experienced half of the session with Joseph today, I’ve got so many notes and action points to take into our parenting for our two boys. Additionally, as a board member, I’m so proud of the leadership of Gulf Harbour School in bringing Dr Driessen to develop our already great teachers. I recommend to any parents of boys to make the time tonight to attend, you won’t regret it."
Tony Naidu – Parent and Board Member Gulf Harbour School
"Great strategies to empower our boys as learners, as teachers and parents."
Kirstin R. teacher
"This is a great opportunity to confirm those things that you’re doing right and perhaps a few tools to help you be an even better parent to your boys! I’ve learnt a lot and my family as a whole will benefit from this. Don’t miss it!"
Vanessa Bradley, Parent and Board Member
"Dr Diessen comes at this whole issue from a great perspective, that is, what do you need to do to create a great learning environment? A sub set of this is boys and what they need, to be great learners. Highly recommended!"
