Snow Queen Production for 2015

"A magical, musical comedy, The Snow Queen follows the newly crowned Queen Elsa, who flees after accidentally using her power to turn things into ice and leave her home in infinite winter, her sister, Anna, teams up with a mountain man, his playful reindeer, and a snowman to find her sister and bring back summer!"

Tickets are selling fast for our Year 7/8 Production THE SNOW QUEEN with our very own choir of 120 + students.  We have 3 shows at Whangaparaoa College Auditorium on the following dates:

Monday 17th August 7.00pm

Tuesday 18th August 4.00pm

Wednesday 19th August 7.00pm

Adults $10.00, Children $5.00

Lots of amazing food and drink will be available at all the shows, please bring cash.

Our school has been offered a fantastic fundraising opportunity with Fruitworld Whangaparaoa.  3% of the total sales from your docket will go to our school plus you get the chance to win one of five $25 vouchers to spend at their store. Classes to share learning from 6.15pm in their classrooms  

Dress in your colours - bring or wear something from the culture you identify with.

Bring your own drinks, plates and cutlery. PTA will sell hot drinks and dessert so bring along some money.

This is to raise awareness of this disease that is affecting over 4000 kiwis every year.  Wear something spotty or dotty and bring a gold coin donation.  All proceeds go to the Melanoma Foundation of NZ.

11th Feb - Year 3, 4 & 5 Parent Camp Meetings, 7.00 - 8.00pm in Rooms 8 & 9.

12th Feb - School in the Park - Shakepear Park,5.30 - 8.00pm.  Everyone welcome, bring along a picnic dinner and enjoy the evening with other families from our school.

19th Feb - Board of Trustees meeting, 6.00 - 9.00pm in the Staffroom.

23rd - 27th Feb - Year 3 & 4 Shakespear (2 camps), Year 5 Whatipu (2 camps).
