Mathletics

What is Mathletics?
Mathletics is New Zealand's most used educational website. It is the next generation in learning, helping students enjoy Maths and improve their results. Mathletics covers the full Year 1 to 13 NZ Maths Curriculum, so there are plenty of opportunities to support or extend students.

Benefits of Mathletics:
Students love it, motivating them to achieve better.
A wide range of tools and resources allow students to explore mathematical concepts and strategies.
Parent reporting enables parents to monitor their child's progress.
It is used and trusted by more than 800 NZ schools and 10,000 schools worldwide.

How do I join?
Pay for a year's subscription via the school shop or at the office. $32.00 per child. Your child will be issued with their log in details when this has been processed. If your child had a Mathletics subscription at GHS in 2015, the log in details should be the same.

Please contact your child's teacher or Kirsten Kiata (k.kiata@ghs.school.nz) for more information about Mathletics.

Daffodil Funds raised - $412.50 - Thank you everyone!!

The sun says hello
To the new burst of yellow.

The last glimpse of snow starts to disappear,
And rises up into the atmosphere.

As the breeze starts prancing,
The flowers start dancing.

They make the garden sing,
At the start of spring.

Coast Netball Tournament

Great competition at Edith hopper park on 11th August. Although we didn't make the semis, both teams gave great effort and tried their best. Some incredible wins, losses and draws to learn from and grow in the skills they have begun. It was awesome to see new and recurring players and to see them shine.
