Changes to BOT Election Dates
Due to many time frame challenges occuring around the BOT Election dates, communicated to our parents in the 1st March newsletter, we have had to change the dates to the following:
Nominations called: 2nd May (was 15th March)

Bring Your Own Devices (BYOD) Webpage Update
Please note that we have updated our school webpage about IT and mobile devices. There, you will see our postion on encouraging mobile devices and particularly Apple products. Note too that students can bring other devices but will need to use them more independently as teachers are familiar with Apple devices. Mathletics is New Zealand's leadingn online resource for Maths. Its's the next generation in learning, helping students enjoy Maths and achieve outstanding results. Cost per student is $25.00 per year.

Fundraiser for Child Cancer and Cure Kids - 3rd March in Orewa
Grab your family, friends and workmates to join us as we celebrate Children's Day & raise money for Child Cancer Foundation and Cure Kids. Kiara's Angel walk/cycle is from 9.00am after a memorial ceremony at 8.45am and release of water lilies. The walk/cycle finishes with a free family funday with entertainment, rides, prizes, food, stalls and fun activities until 2.00pm. Registrations for the walk/cycle are essential. Creative Music Core welcomes you & is delighted to introduce our continuing music programme for Gulf Harbour School in 2013. Students will be encouraged to perform in group and band situations and produce mini concerts and performances throughout the year.
