We will have a 'Marathon' of reading across intercom during the middle block. After lunch - Stu Duval will share some of his books and his journey to becoming an author. There will be reading time with buddies. Parents welcome to come in throughout the day. Let's celebrate our wonderful two weeks of reading!!!
Children need to dress up as their favourite character and bring a cushion, bean-bag or deck chair so they can be comfortable for our all day Reading celebration. Remember your hats & water bottles.
Parents are welcome to come along for the day/part of the day - remember to bring along something comfortable to sit on too.
We will start the day with Sir Readalot, then go into a parade of the costumes and a 'Guess the character' competition.
Just a reminder that we still have until this date to get sponsorship - our goal is $20,000. The students are so involved in the Reading but we just need to keep pushing hard with the sponsors - just think if we averaged around $50.00 sponsorship per child we would get there:)
