GALA UPDATE no. 7 - 2 weeks to go!
Thank you once again for all the support we are getting from our school community. It has been really fantastic.
Great news for Buzzy Bee fans…. Buzzy Bee will be visiting our gala and you can have a ride around the field in Buzzy Bee! (Weather dependent). For you Sporting and Golfing fans, SNAG Golf will be at the Gala too. Both of these attractions will be found on the back field near the netball courts. We may even have a fire engine there too!
This week we would like to acknowledge the following companies:
- Salvation Army who has donated a lot of chipped crockery to be used in the Crockery Smash game.
- Bee Friendly Gardens (Sarah Lenton) for donating various plants and bromeliads to be sold at the Plant Stall
- Seaside Grill Restaurant in Orewa who have donated a voucher to be used in one of the raffles.
Ray White Manly are holding a Charity Auction for us at the Gala as well as sponsoring the Sausage Sizzle. We would like to acknowledge the following businesses who have kindly donated items or services for the Auction:

What’s On:
Drop off for Gala donations is on Tuesday mornings from 8:30am in Room 4, and on Saturday 25th October 2pm – 4pm. Please clear out your cupboards for toys, games, clothes, small items of furniture etc. (all in good, clean and working order please.)
Freaky Friday Mufti Day 24th October: come dressed crazily or colourfully (like our Gala Posters). Instead of a gold coin donation we will be requesting a $2.00 item that can be used as prizes in our games at the Gala. For example: erasers, stickers, balls, lollies, chocolates, etc. Only 1 item per family is necessary. Thank you for your support with this.
How You can Help:
We are looking for white or cream fabric that can be used to make bunting, so if you have any please contact Jayne Shaw - shaw.jayne@gmail.com before Friday.
